Village of 100, 4th Edition

This training video presents a new perspective on diversity and tolerance. Imagine if the world’s population was reduced to 100, and those 100 lived together in a village. All the ratios of existing humans, those of religion, wealth, and ethnicity, would remain the same. What would that village look like? Would you imagine that more people have access to the internet than a toilet? Or could you imagine that fifty percent of the world’s wealth would be owned by just one person?

The dynamics in the village serve as a reminder of the basics we take for granted. This perspective also serves as a reminder of our commonalities, and how we should be understanding and tolerant to those that have different backgrounds than we do.

Of course, while the overarching message of these materials is to tolerate and understand, there are immediate benefits for you and your company as well. Gaining an appreciation of someone’s else’s experience and background is invaluable for building a better and more cohesive team.
