Process Safety Management

Accidents at hazardous chemical manufacturing facilities can endanger the lives of employees and nearby residents and can potentially harm the environment. This video training explains the role each employee plays to ensure the facility operates safely, and employees know what to do in case an emergency arises.

Viewers learn about their responsibility to use the proper personal protective equipment for their jobs, and to know and understand the current safety standards and chemical process safety programs in place in the facility. The video discusses the hazards of confined spaces, hot work and the need for proper lock-out and tag-out procedures. This short training impresses the viewer with the need for personal knowledge, responsibility and compliance with the facility's process safety plan. It concludes with a quiz to be sure the main points are understood.

This excellent overview will set the stage for your organization’s in-depth training of process safety standards. It is appropriate for all employees and contract workers.
