Overview

Hazard Communication: GHS Container Labeling in Construction

Construction employees who work with or near hazardous chemicals must become familiar with the new Globally Harmonized System (GHS) system for hazardous material labeling created by the United Nations. This online training explains the six major pieces of information each label must contain, and shows each of the nine new pictograms that graphically illustrate the chemical hazard classifications.

Use this detailed explanation of the new labeling standard to prepare your employees to understand the new labeling system and protect themselves from workplace hazards. A comprehensive quiz at the end of the course allows employees to test their understanding of the information and receiving coaching toward the correct responses.
