As construction workers you know lead can be a dangerous to your health; in large quantities it is fatal. For this reason it is important construction workers remain ever mindful of OSHA lead standards.
This refresher training video provides information on OHSA's Lead Standard, the effects of lead on the body, permissible exposure limits, exposure assessment and air monitoring, the “written compliance plan,” use of PPE including respirators, safe work practices and medical surveillance.
Upon completion of this training video construction workers will be reacquainted with the necessary steps to stay healthy when working in environment presenting the potential for lead exposure.
