Overview

Walking and Working Surfaces in Construction Environments

This training is for the safety of construction workers. Construction sites come with some serious risks, including the surfaces workers work on. Learning to work safely on stairs, ladders, and climbing areas in construction sites is outlined in this video-based course.

The main sections cover what types of risks to look for in a construction site, how floors and pathways can be dangerous and how to guard against injuries on them, and how stairs and ladders need to have extra guarding to make them extra safe for workers on them and around them. Portable ladders and scaffolding also can have a high risk of injury to those who do not take the proper precautions while using them, and letting other workers know they are in the areas around them.

Provide your workers with an overview of important safety behaviors they should put into practice as they step on the construction site.
