Creating A Positive Compliance Mindset Part 4: Making It Happen

In the first three parts of this four-part series, you learned about becoming aware, recognizing fears, and responding positively regarding the need for change. So, how do you implement that change? Here, in the final part of this series, you are shown how to make change happen, and maintain a positive compliance mindset throughout the process.

Creating a positive compliance mindset is not instantaneous. It involves hard work, perseverance, and changing your way of thinking. When you set out to create a positive compliance mindset, you should realize that you won’t be alone in your endeavor. In any group, 70% of people are amenable to change. This course demonstrates how you should call on the 70% to help persuade the 30%.

Of course, you must also work on your internal capacity for change. We have a natural tendency to focus on the things we don’t want, which are natural inhibitors of change. To overcome this obstacle, utilize your “I Want” statements. With the actions demonstrated here, you can cross the bridge, embrace change, and create a positive compliance mindset.

In the past, you may have seen change as something to fear, but successful organizations and employees see change as something positive. And when you create a change adaptive environment, you create a place where employees love to come to work.
