Overview

Is it a coincidence that the same percentage, 33 percent, of full-time workers in the United States identify as change averse and as dissatisfied with their jobs? Change, and innovation, can be an uncomfortable thing. However, when a company embraces that mindset, it can truly prepare for the future and “Drive Agility.” Certainly, we cannot see into the future, and the only information we have available to us is what has come before. Despite this, new systems and processes are made, and innovation occurs. The only way to change the status quo, and to become an innovator, is to ask questions like “What if?” This training course shows employees how to drive innovation and creativity and tackle change for the better.

When diving into an innovation journey one must identity all the influences within their organization that will affect the process. Inside influences of your workplace, including the culture of your specific industry, your company’s history, its customers, and its competitors, can also affect your ability to offer new ideas and possible solutions. To best understand how to raise your ideas within your organization’s specific climate, you must first know which specific inside influences are involved. This course provides you with more insight into those influences, as well as other key concepts on the road to driving agility, including the Three R’s and Replacement Thinking.

Innovation may make individuals feel unsettled and that they are losing control, but that can be remedied by simply inviting others into the planning process. The barriers preventing innovation can all be removed with the proper mindset. Once these barriers are gone, you can truly begin to drive innovation and be ready for what’s next. Utilize the information presented here and help your organization become one that truly innovates and drives the future.
