Overview

Leadership: Would I Follow Me?

This training is targeted to help managers or those in a leadership role become more effective, better at their job and be well-respected by employees.

Many managers do not look at their own methods up close. This training shows the positive changes a manager can make to become more effective through positive reinforcement and honesty. Leadership is not about doing the job for others, scolding them, or pointing out downfalls. Instead, this training shows how helping people do their jobs by supporting them, being positive, and using mistakes as opportunities to improve.

This course helps managers grow by showing a manager who is not effective, an office staff with low morale directly related to the manager’s approach, and how the manager can change their behavior to be a more effective leader. The training is divided into six major sections: Don’t Dictate, Facilitate; Be Honest and Ethical; Let People Do Their Jobs; Focus on the Positive; Use Mistakes As Opportunities; and Be Inclusive. Each section shows the wrong way to approach a situation, and the better way. The conclusion wraps up the wrong approach with the correct approach featured in each major section, starting off with the question “Would I Follow Me?”
