Killer Words of Customer Service

Sometimes a customer-facing employee says something with good intentions to a customer that ends up making the person upset. A simple “calm down” to an angry customer can escalate things quickly from bad to worse. This new course, “Killer Words of Customer Service,” illustrates the right and wrong things for customer service representatives to say.

This course, produced by the Telephone Doctor, presents lessons on eight different conversation-killing phrases, and illustrates more appropriate communication strategies for reps to use. This course is presented in HD video and, like all courses published on Mastery’s courseware platform, can be accessed from all devices, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, and desktop computers.

New Respiratory Protection and PPE Training

This month we released two new courses, originally produced by CLMI, to prep your workers to properly use their Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). “Personal Protective Equipment: Your Final Defense” covers the basics on the importance of PPE and the responsibilities an employee and employer have regarding PPE. The course also demonstrates the proper use for protective equipment for the eyes, head, feet, hands, and skin.

Respiratory Protection: Your Guide to Clean Breathing” focuses on the particulars when it comes to respiratory protection. This course explores the kinds of respiratory hazards one could encounter, health screenings, the various types of respirators available, and cartridges and filters. The second half of the course talks about inspecting, maintaining, and using your respirator.
