Overview

Accident Investigation Training

Nearly everyone has been involved in one accident or another. Although some accidents are minor, others, including those that can occur at the workplace, are more serious and can lead to injury or even death. Investigating accidents that happen at work can help make the workplace safer for all workers. The goal of the accident investigation case study is to prevent more accidents from occurring, not to assign blame or get others in trouble. A good accident investigation can solve the mystery behind any safety problem, and help your workers stay safe on the job.

This course describes the accident investigation process and includes accident investigation case studies. Topics include: root cause analysis; accident prevention; how to respond during an accident; and equipment, training, procedure, and communication involvement in accidents. Demonstrate to employees the importance of conducting a proper accident investigation with the procedures shown in this course.
