Heat Stress in Construction Environments

This video training course educates construction workers on how to work safely in the heat. This video explains the dangers of heat-related illness, how to limit the risk to it, how to recover from it, and how to treat others suffering.

Everyone who works in a hot environment needs to know the symptoms of heat stress, heat cramps, heat exhaustion, and heat stroke. Viewers learn how to prepare themselves to work in a hot environment and limit their risk for heat-related illness. Workers learn how to respond to their own symptoms of heat-related problems, as well as to those of their co-workers.

Heat stress is best avoided, and in order to prevent you need to know how to recognize hazards and prepare accordingly.
