Workplace violence is dangerous, destructive, and costly. Often springing up from a disagreement or conflict between co-workers, violence in the workplace commonly results in property damage, physical injuries, or even fatalities. In fact, at least two million workers report being assaulted on the job every year.

By presenting the truth surrounding workplace violence, this course teaches employees the warning signs of possible workplace violence, the potential effects of violent behavior in the workplace, the different types of behavior considered to be violent, and the types of situations that often give rise to violence in various work environments.
