Email Matters: Jargon and Shortcuts

This course on writing emails addresses the issue of using jargon and shortcuts. People unfamiliar with industry jargon may be confused by those terms in emails. Another tip in communication is avoiding casual shortcuts, such as the number 4, in place of “for”, and other short hand text message abbreviations. These do not have a place in professional emails, and they can reflect poorly on the organization. Use this course to learn some quick tips on how to craft clear messages to customers.
