Walking and Working Surfaces
This month we released a new set of courses on walking and working surfaces. Slips, trips, and falls cause almost 20% of disabling workplace injuries and cause thousands of workplace fatalities each year. However, by following basic safety tips and adhering to OSHA’s walking surfaces regulations, most of these incidents are preventable. These courses explain OSHA’s regulations in the context of how to make the workplace safe for everyone. There is one generic course version, and then four industry-specific versions.

Dealing With Suicidal Employees And Victims Of Domestic Violence
Having policies in place to address employees' well-being, backed by a culture that demonstrates care is what truly sets some organizations apart. The new course, “Dealing With Suicidal Employees And Victims Of Domestic Violence,” released this month, explores how to offer support to a suicide prone employee or an employee who is a victim of domestic violence.
Ultimately, this course helps learners understand the importance of policies, training, and awareness in creating a supportive workplace culture.
