This training is designed to explain the “Globally Harmonized System” of classification and labeling of chemicals, or GHS. With the many different ways to classify chemicals and the hazards they represent, the GHS works to streamline these identifiers through the use of pictograms and globally recognized classifications of hazards.
Topics cover the container labels and safety data sheets, as well as the GHS hazard classifications. The classifications are divided amongst physical, health and environmental hazards, and then categorized by the type of effect they will have on the user or environment if handled incorrectly.
This safety training will help to train your employees on how to properly read the GHS standardized chemical labels and safety data sheets, and to minimize the risk of injury or impact on the environment.
