Overview

Federal law prohibits harassment in the workplace. While learning from others’ experiences can help provide education about harassment, it is important to understand what harassment is and how to prevent it. This course helps employees understand harassing behaviors and provides the appropriate steps one should take if they are being harassed or are a witness to harassment.

This course uses realistic examples of harassment at work to define harassment and stereotyping. Learners hear how harassment can create a hostile work environment as well as ways in which to stop harassment once it starts. This online course also discusses the Reasonable Person Standard, quid pro quo, stereotyping, and third-party harassment.

Always treating others with tolerance and respect will prevent harassment from occurring at work. Use this course to help foster a more respectful workplace.
