Overconfident, hurried forklift drivers are involved in 37,000 forklift accidents annually in the U.S., causing personal injury and damaging goods. This online video training provides warehouse employees and anyone else working with or around forklifts with safe operating practices to adapt while operating a forklift.

This video training, divided into five sections, introduces the need for safe operations, covers the mechanics of leverage and how forklifts work, provides vital pre-use checklists for all components of the forklift, special considerations when working with electric- and LP-powered vehicles, gives tips for safely approaching and lifting loads. The course also covers driving in the warehouse and on loading docks and in trucks, proper stacking considerations, and correct parking procedures.

Train everyone who works with or around forklifts to be vigilant about safety. Reduce the frequency and severity of forklift accidents, and reinforce the message that shortcuts can be dangerous.
