Overview

Many studies suggest you can reduce the risk of cancer by making healthy choices about food. One-third of cancer deaths may be related to what we eat. In this training course, employees learn the seven guidelines for healthy diets to help protect themselves and their families from cancer.

Some of the seven guidelines for healthy diets include: eat a variety of mineral-rich foods every day, maintain a desirable weight, and eat foods with enough starch and fiber. This course also emphasizes how smoking causes one-third of all cancer-related deaths. Making smart choices about what we put into our bodies can help us all live healthier, cancer-free lives.
