Carbon monoxide (CO) has no color or odor and is the second most encountered contaminant in polluted areas. By the time symptoms are noticeable, victims are not able to manage a proper response on their own. CO poisoning can have results as minor as a headache and as major as permanent psychosis, paralysis, and other lifelong disorders, or eventually death, depending on the severity and length of exposure. This training teaches employees how to identify the symptoms and the initial emergency procedures to follow in the event of CO exposure.
