Out of the millions who use computers at work, nearly one in five suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome, computer vision syndrome, or lower back pain. This online training video explains what causes these conditions and what you can do to prevent or minimize them.
Many computer users suffer from irritated eyes, fatigue and headaches resulting from eye strain, called computer vision syndrome. This course illustrates how eye strain is caused by poor lighting, glare, and dirty monitor screens. Viewers are shown how to eliminate monitor glare by adjusting the light levels, moving or tilting the monitor, and putting a glare filter over the screen. Beyond preventing eye strain, the video models ways to achieve neutral body positioning and make other adjustments to a workspace to help avoid unnecessary strain from using a computer.
Learn how to reduce the risk of computer-related pain and injury by watching this online training video.
