Overview

Supervisors and managers are a company’s first line of defense against allegations of sexual harassment in the workplace. This online video training explains actions that constitute sexual harassment, emphasizes the importance of supervisory personnel modeling correct behavior, and discusses opposite-sex and same-sex sexual harassment, as well as supervisor-subordinate sexual harassment.

Viewers learn to recognize employee behavior that may indicate harassment has taken place or is ongoing, how to intercede in problematic conduct, and what to do when a formal complaint about sexual harassment is lodged. The importance of knowing and enforcing the company’s sexual harassment policy is also stressed.

Sexual harassment cannot be ignored. Everyone who supervises or manages staff has the obligation to protect both the employees and the company from the consequences of inappropriate sexual behavior at work. Unwanted and unwelcome sexual conduct must be stopped, whether it is perpetrated by a co-worker, a superior, a vendor, a guest, a customer, or anyone else associated with the job.

This video equips supervisory personnel to recognize and stop such conduct, and to handle a complaint properly should one be lodged. This is a must-see video for everyone entrusted with protecting the welfare and safety of employees and the company’s reputation.
