Conducting Effective Onboard Drills for Vessel and Offshore Facility Crews

Getting better at any task requires practice. This includes responding successfully in an emergency. Planning effective emergency response drills is critical to the safety of crew members of any vessel or offshore facility. There are usually no fire departments, rescue vessels, or other first responders in the area, so the crew members are truly the first responders in an emergency.
