This training addresses the importance of safety measures while working on an oil rig. This includes emergency procedures and understanding their importance, as well as incident reporting and responses.
There are many risks working on an oil rig, and knowing the procedures to remain safe and knowledgeable about safety is found in this training. An orientation begins the training with an explanation and overview of what will be found in the training itself. Emergency drills, diagrams and exit routes are noted as important steps to safety.
The training is divided into three major sections. The lesson on First Aid explains how quick response to injuries, even minor, is vital, as well as knowing who to call, and the related medical emergency policies. Section two includes "The Four P's". These are Preserve Life, Prevent Injury (including further injuries), Protect Yourself (as well as helping others), Preventing Further injury. The last section is about Incident Reporting and Investigation. Use this training and become prepared to deal with emergencies while working in the oilfield.
