Overview

Dialogue: Now You're Talking! Dialogue for Cultural Understanding

People see the world differently, and often dialogue showcases these differences. This video shows the viewer how to communicate with people of different cultures within the workplace.

This training shows the viewer how to be open when speaking in dialogue and withhold judgment. Because dialogue is not a form of debate, this training focuses on how the viewer must listen in order to create a mutual understanding of goals. By using trustworthy dialogue and asking clarifying questions, dialogue can be used to create open and professional environments within the workplace. This training also shows the viewer how cultural issues might arise within communication. By being truthful and disclosing hidden assumptions, cultural issues can be discussed and moved passed.

Use this video in the workplace where dialogue is needed to mend the gap between cultures in the workplace. A short quiz follows this video to better understand the tasks at hand.
