Overview

Confined Space Entry: Permit Required Confined Space

This online training video is designed to help educate workers on how to safely work in permit required confined spaces. Types of confined spaces include silos, pits, pipes, and tanks. These spaces have limited access for entrance and exit, and are large enough to work in but not designed for continual occupancy. Learning the reasons why work sites might be listed as a permit required confined space, and the existing hazards, will help employees keep themselves safe when working in such dangerous environments.

When workers recognize the different types of danger their risk of injury is decreased. This course educates workers on some of the different types of hazards existing in a confined work space, including atmospheric hazards, mechanical or electrical hazards, engulfment hazards, and design hazards. Learning how to identify the risk and how to take the proper measures to protect themselves will reduce workers' risk of injury.

An educated worker is a safer worker. This online video training will teach your employees how to safely work in permit required confined spaces.
