Mastery Technologies Releases Update to Video On Demand Platform
NOVI, Mich. - September 26, 2014 - With technology ever evolving, Mastery Technologies has released an update to its Video On Demand (VOD) platform. Committed to equipping companies with the tools necessary to build amazing organizations, the upgraded platform’s new features encompass suggestions provided by customer feedback.
The new VOD platform, which has two iterations (VOD v3.1 and 3.1b), gives users a bookmarking feature to allow them to return to the last viewed chapter, if the learner exits before completing an entire course. Upon returning, the new format provides the learner with the choice to resume where they left off or start the course over from the beginning.
The VOD v3.1 has an exclusive feature which prohibits the learner from skipping ahead through the chapter list and eliminates the ability to fast-forward through the video. To ensure compliance regulations are met, this feature helps ensure each employee has completed the course in its entirety and views all valuable safety-related information.
The VOD v3.1b gives learners full control for navigating through a course. This version applies to topics where full control is beneficial.
In addition to the latest update to the VOD platform, Mastery released 12 new courses by Quality Media Resources (QMR) on its VOD v3.1b format. These course topics include successfully handling stress, providing stellar customer service, and preventing and responding to sexual harassment.
