Walking and Working Surfaces: Comprehensive Training

Have you ever tripped over a cord or a rolled carpet? Have you ever slipped in a spill or on ice? Slips and trips are the most common reason for falling, and a fall could mean a serious injury. OSHA regulations require employees are trained on the nature of fall hazards, how to recognize them and what to do to minimize them. This fall prevention training is aimed toward protecting workers from possible falls and injuries.

Injuries can occur from falling, slipping, or something falling from someone working at heights. It is important to prevent falls, and have training on how to make workplaces safer, but also to have steps in place if an injury occurs. This course covers slip and trip hazards, personal fall arrest systems, limiting and calculating fall distances, ladder safety dock boards, scaffolding safety, and protection from falling objects.
