Invisible Disabilities

30% of the workforce has a documented disability but less than 40% of those people have made their disability known to their manager. This often prevents colleagues and co-workers from being able to make their workplace more inclusive and accommodating to disabled workers who haven’t disclosed their disability.

Taking an empathic approach, the six modules in this course help ensure learners understand the range of disabilities their co-workers may have. By learning how to recognize invisible disabilities, employees and leaders learn how to appropriately accommodate their colleagues. This course teaches learners how to identify support needs associated with particular disabilities and contribute to an open, inclusive, accommodating work environment for those who have them.

Use this course to improve performance, productivity, and morale by teaching all employees how to embrace best practices for supporting employees with invisible disabilities.
