Overview

The success of a team project is dependent on the qualities, characteristics, and skill sets of each member, as well as the guidance of the team leader. This online training course teaches leaders how to put together and lead a dynamic team.

Leaders should keep in mind several aspects when creating a team. For example, experts say the ideal team has between 6 and 10 individuals. An individual’s expertise, skill set, and experience are important factors to consider. Also, teams should be comprised of individuals from various departments relevant to the project. This allows for valuable input from different perspectives.

Viewers learn about several components to help create a dynamic team: psychological safety, dependability, structure and clarity, meaning, and impact quality. Structure and clarity can be provided by having challenging goals and job expectations. Impact quality is being aware of the impact one’s efforts have within the team and on the project.

This course also identifies five leadership behaviors to support the development of high performing teams. They include the ability to inspire the team, resolving conflicts, setting stretch goals, communicating a vision, and building trust.

Take this online training course to learn effective ways to create and guide dynamic teams.
