Overview

There are many models for leaders to follow to navigate change initiatives. The model one follows should depend on the type of organizational change and timeline for it to be completed. This training is about Kurt Lewin’s 3 stage change model for short-term changes.

The 3-stage model starts with an unfreeze stage, next a transition stage during the change, and a refreeze to help lock in the new change. This course demonstrates the critical components of each stage and why they need to be followed through, so any confusion, resistance, or resorting back to the old ways can be dealt with. Communication and research are key to any successful change.

Using this model will help leaders organize the best way to direct employees through organizational change.
