Permit-Required Confined Spaces

Working in confined spaces can be extremely dangerous. When a confined space contains or has the potential to contain a hazardous atmosphere, an engulfment hazard, or any other serious safety or health hazard, or is configured in such a way that an entrant could be trapped or asphyxiated, the space is a “Permit-Required Confined Space.” This Permit-Required Confined Spaces training course educates viewers about the OSHA-recommended safety practices for working in a permit-required confined space.

This training educates viewers about the confined space team, including attendant and entrant roles. This video explores what information must be included on the entry permit. Viewers learn about the various hazards that may be encountered in a permit-required confined space, including atmospheric, mechanical, and engulfment hazards. The course also covers atmospheric testing and monitoring.

This video course educates viewers about best practices for working safely in a permit-required confined space to prevent accidents and comply with OSHA.
