Overview

Bee, wasp and spider stings and bites can be common for those who spend their time working outdoors. This course aims to better prepare viewers for those inevitable encounters by giving detailed information on how to prevent bites or stings and first aid methods to follow if a sting or bite occurs. The differences between bees and wasps are discussed, and several species of spiders are described so the viewer is better able to identify what they encounter.

A demonstration of first aid methods better prepares the viewers to handle a situation if they, or someone else, is bitten or stung.

Immediately following the informative course is a short quiz, to better enforce the information discussed in the video lessons. This training course better prepares viewers to handle the encounters with these insects, as well as guide them on how to best avoid dangerous situations.
