Dump Truck Safety: Operating And Spotting For A Truck
All dump truck drivers and spotters, from the most experienced to the beginner, are at risk of jobsite accidents and injuries resulting from unpredictable equipment and lack of preparation. This course addresses those risks and how to prepare for and prevent them.
Dump trucks, when used correctly, make workers’ lives much easier, but not necessarily safer unless they accurately prepare themselves, the jobsite, and the truck in advance. This is equally true for spotters, who must also be prepared and coordinate with the driver in advance. Collectively, the three lessons in the course (Preparing To Operate A Dump Truck; Operating A Dump Truck; Being A Spotter For A Dump Truck) thoroughly address each of the streps and practices dump truck drives and spotters need to know and take in order to keep the equipment, themselves, and everyone in the jobsite vicinity safe.
Present this course to teach dump truck drivers and spotters how to safely operate and spot for a dump truck while keeping the work environment safe for all coworkers.
