Overview

Religious Harassment And Discrimination In The Workplace

Workplace harassment or discrimination based on an employee’s sincerely held religious view is illegal per Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. This course teaches employers and managerial level employees the types of religious discrimination actions or practices that are prohibited in the workplace.

Upon learning what they cannot do, such as refusing to interview, hire, recruit, or promote individuals of a certain faith or belief or giving preferential treatment to persons of one religion over another, leaders then learn who is protected and all that they are protected from. Concluding with guidance for reasonable accommodation for religious practices and dress and grooming practices, this course empowers employers to assure they create a safe, inclusive environment in full compliance with Title VII.

Present this course to provide a comfortable place for people of all faiths or beliefs to work and remain free of religious discrimination, harassment, and litigation.
