Preventing Workplace Injury

Every ten minutes somebody somewhere gets hit by a falling object, making falling objects the third leading cause of death in the workplace. Yet, as this course shows it is also a preventable type of injury. Focused on teaching workers how to prevent, recognize, and recover from the most dangerous workplace injuries and illnesses, this course takes an engaging approach on how to create and sustain a safe work environment.

This course empowers workers with insights and safe work practices they can immediately apply both on and off the job. The course specifically tackles heat and cold related illnesses, carbon monoxide poisoning, musculoskeletal injuries, falling object injuries, lightning strikes, and traffic accidents.
