Safety Awareness II: Real Accidents, Real Stories
Workplace accidents happen at an alarming rate; there are five million people who will experience a work-related injury, accident, or illness each year. This workplace safety course outlines the importance of a safe work environment and introduces viewers to four individuals, who tell their different stories of their workplace injury.
Each story highlighted in the safety training course provides the viewer with a detailed account of each accident on the job and what each individual could have done differently. A common factor among each story is either a lack of complacency or of simply not taking the workplace safety guidelines seriously. This video explains how safety practices taken at work can be applied even outside of work. One individual in the video, injured at home, discusses how his lack of respect for workplace safety rules contributed to his accident at home. The video instructs viewers to be aware of their own safety as well as the safety of those around them.
Adhering to and enforcing workplace safety regulations can prevent many accidents from happening. Demonstrate the importance of practicing workplace precaution and reduce complacency with this video on safety awareness. Use this training video to establish a safe work environment and a commitment to the observance of workplace safety practices.
