Housekeeping

The National Safety Council estimates 300,000 slip and fall accidents occur annually; however simple yet effective housekeeping strategies can reduce the risk of such injuries. Commonplace industrial materials left out of place such as oil, plywood, piping, boxes and cleansers can be the cause of slips, trips and falls.

This training video accordingly demonstrates how to properly organize or otherwise dispose of tools, combustibles and scrap. Through incident reenactments, the program models procedures such as coiling hoses, which not only prevent trips but also leave pathways to emergency equipment clear.

When at work, keep your space organized. Secure all loose piping, and mop up any spilled water or cleanser. Taking the time to use the lessons in this training video and keeping a clean work area will help keep your workplace a safe and accident-free environment.
