Forklift Safety: Industrial Counterbalance Lift Trucks
More than 100 workers are killed each year in forklift accidents. Even though forklifts can make many jobs easier, this does not mean they are easy to operate. Forklifts are unnaturally stable, thus operation takes both skill and responsibility. This online course teaches forklift operators how to stabilize an industrial counterbalance forklift by being aware of its stability triangle.
Safe driving practices are discussed, along with standard operation of the mast and forks. Tips for inspection and refueling are also taught in this course.
