Hazardous Materials Labels

OSHA, the Department of Transportation, and the EPA all have established labeling requirements for the materials they regulate. Anyone working with or around hazardous materials must be trained to read such labels and interpret the information in order to implement safe work practices. This video training course teaches viewers how to use different types of hazardous materials labels.

This course details several labelling systems including, GHS, DOT, HMIS, NFPA, and hazardous waste labels. The video explores each type of label and the information required on each label. This training explains where to look to find the hazardous materials labels.
