Overview

Sexual Harassment Prevention In New York For Managers

The state of New York has a long history of protecting employees’ rights which is evidenced by its workplace zero-tolerance policy toward sexual harassment. This course teaches managers and supervisors how to recognize, respond to, and prevent sexual harassment at their company.

Every complaint or known instance of sexual harassment in New York must be taken seriously. This course explains to managers and supervisors the importance of knowing the two types of sexual harassment, how they show up in the workplace, and their detrimental consequences to both the victim and the perpetrator. Upon completing the nine lessons in this course (Quid Pro Quo; Hostile Environment; Potentially Illegal Acts; Preventing Harassment; Reporting Harassment; Remedies; Bystander Intervention; Retaliation; Other Protected Groups) managers will fully understand the nuances and severity of sexual harassment and how to prevent it.

Use this course to empower supervisors and managers and their employees to treat everyone with respect, refrain from engaging in inappropriate behavior, and speak up when they witness any type of harassment.
